Our great joy is knowing and serving Christ. We desire to love Him with all our hearts and glorify Him in all we do. Believing the Bible to be God's inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word, we hold it as our sole rule and authority. We have adopted this purpose statement from the Scriptures for our service to the Lord: "The purpose of Zion Church is to glorify God by obediently making and equipping disciples of Christ, in San Diego and throughout the world, by the power of the Spirit."

What's Happening at Zion

First Thursday Prayer Emphasis Day
On Thursday August 4th, we will be having our monthly Prayer Emphasis day. We will be meeting for a time of prayer and worship at 6:30 PM. During this time we call upon God for His mercy, blessing, and guidance for His bride, the Church. We pray for our pastors, the congregation, our community, our nation, foreign missions and that His name would be great in San Diego and among the nations. We ask you to clear your calendar and come join us simply and profoundly to pray.

Church Picnic
Sunday August 29th after the worship service, we will be having a Church Picnic. The picnic will be at Rohr Park (4548 Sweetwater Rd, Bonita, CA 91902). This is a wonderful time for us to fellowship and grow closer to one another. We look forward to seeing everyone there!

Sunday School
Is the Bible true? Is the Bible God’s Word? Join us this Sunday morning at 9am when Pastor Jeff will continue to teach us how to clearly defend the Bible’s claims that it is in fact God’s written Word to mankind. Don’t let your personal experience be the only evidence used when witnessing to your friends. All of creation and history have been masterfully crafted by our Sovereign God to testify to the authority of the Scriptures as God’s written Word. Come and get equipped and show yourself approved before God. (II Tim 2:15)
