Picnic
Sunday
July 25th after the worship service, we will be having a Church
Picnic. The picnic will be at Rohr Park (4548 Sweetwater Rd,
Bonita, CA 91902). This is a wonderful time for us to fellowship
and grow closer to one another. We look forward to seeing everyone
there!
First
Thursday Prayer Emphasis Day
On
Thursday August 4th, we will be having our monthly Prayer Emphasis
day. We will be meeting for a time of prayer and worship at
6:30 PM. During this time we call upon God for His mercy, blessing,
and guidance for His bride, the Church. We pray for our pastors,
the congregation, our community, our nation, foreign missions
and that His name would be great in San Diego and among the
nations. We ask you to clear your calendar and come join us
simply and profoundly to pray.
The
Church! Sunday School Class
We are currently in a sermon series for our worship service
at 10 AM on “The Church”. This series is leading
us through the fundamental teachings of the scriptures on the
Church. We are also having a Sunday School class at 9 AM with
the purpose to delve deeper into the topic covered the previous
week and to answer any questions that might have risen. Please
plan on joining us as we grow together in unity of doctrine
and the love of Christ.
Salt
& Light Ministry
The purpose of Salt and Light Ministries is to improve and enhance
the witness of Jesus Christ in the areas of government, politics
and social issues. It does this by appropriately involving the
local church to influence its community, culture and government.
Salt and Light Ministries follows the acronym of PETER.
P – Pray for our elected officials, state, nation and
world
E – Educate on Biblical worldview, Authority of the Bible,
Historical Foundations, God’s Non-Negotiable’s
T – Take Action on Issues and Legislation and be Salt
and Light within the community
E – Electoral Process: Voting Values and Raising up candidates
for office that hold our values
R – Register voters on year-round basis in churchesA Salt
and Light Ministry Affiliate is a member driven ministry, serving
under the oversight of local church leaders that works on various
civic projects that preserve moral integrity and uphold traditional
family, life and liberty.
